Kia ora whanau,

My name is Anita and I am the new Kaiako and Assistant Manager here at Jojos.

I am a qualified, registered educator with over 16 years professional experience.

I am married to Mike and together we have 7 children aged from 17 to 28 years old. I have lived local to the area since I was 1 and attended both Waimauku Primary School and Massey High School. The area has changed over time!

At the heart of my teaching philosophy is the capturing of something I refer to as magical moments.

Hi I’m Shannon, a teacher in Pipi here at Jojos. I am in my second year of training towards my bachelor of teaching.
I have always had a passion for working alongside children to help them grow and develop at their own pace, I have been working in
centres for about two years but also have done volunteering whilst doing study. I believe each child is unique in their own way
therefore they need to be treated as individuals. I strive to get to know each child individually so I can cater to their needs.
I have three children of my own. Hunter, my youngest, is also attending Jojos. As a family, we enjoy fishing, gardening, and being
with family and friends.

I look forward to being part of your child’s journey here at Jojo’s.

I am 19 years old and the eldest of three. I have been living in Kumeu for the past 7 years and have been working with kids for years and absolutely love it. Growing up my Nana was an Early Childhood Teacher, which helped lead me to find my love for teaching.

A few of my Interests/hobbies are; Going to the beach, Art and Crafts, Health and fitness, and Horse Riding, just to name a few.

I am also starting my study to become a Midwife at AUT this year and cannot wait!

I am 22 years old and live in Kumeu with my partner, Ben, and our daughter Ava-Rose. I am currently studying towards my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and have always had a passion for children, enjoying watching them learn and grow each day.
