Tuatua2 - 3's

Tuatua Room (24 – 36 months)

Research shows this is a very special age where nurturing and emerging skills are developing fast and children do best in a small environment.  We keep our class under 15 with a terrific ratio to support the toddlers to become confident learners and build social skills with their peers in a safe and fun space with messy play, outdoor time and fun galore!

Nap time is still important for those growing bodies and brains so every child has their own cot.  Our teachers are great at supporting little people with their toilet training whilst at the same time we offer free cloth nappies to support their independent journeys.

Carrie

Teacher in training
I am currently studying Early Childhood Education at Unitec. I love engaging in play with children and forming relationships with them and their whanau.

Emma – Team Leader

Bachelor of Education ECE
I have been teaching for a little over 7 years now. I found my passion for teaching through a love of engaging in play and helping them learning through play, to also form sold reciprocal relationships with them and their whanau. I love children, I love seeing the look of proudness on their face when they can do what they said they couldn't! I hope to see you around.

I am the youngest of 4 girls including my twin sister Maddy. I've always had a passion for children from when I was little and playing with dolls to now where I have three nephews whom I adore! I'm looking forward to starting my tertiary study to become a qualified teacher.
