Tuatua2 - 3's

Tuatua Room (24 – 36 months)

Research shows this is a very special age where nurturing and emerging skills are developing fast and children do best in a small environment.  We keep our class under 15 with a terrific ratio to support the toddlers to become confident learners and build social skills with their peers in a safe and fun space with messy play, outdoor time and fun galore!

Nap time is still important for those growing bodies and brains so every child has their own cot.  Our teachers are great at supporting little people with their toilet training whilst at the same time we offer free cloth nappies to support their independent journeys.

Meet the Tuatua Staff

Georgia - Teacher

Teacher Hi everyone!  My name is Georgia and I have just finished high school at St Mary's College. Although born in London, I grew up on Auckland's North Shore however I currently reside in Muriwai, and am loving the beach! I enjoy and have played a number of sports and also ride and compete horses in my spare time. My work has always involved children and I was the head coach of the Nippers program within my Surf Lifesaving Club and was last year awarded the Volunteer Surf Lifeguard of the year in the Coromandel. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your children.

Karina - Teacher

Teacher Hi, I'm Karina. I have been teaching in early childhood since 2002 and am passionate about children having the freedom to learn in their own time, surrounded by loving and attentive teachers. I have 2 children of my own and they both attended Jojo's as well. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.
