Tuatua2 - 3's

Tuatua Room (24 – 36 months)

Research shows this is a very special age where nurturing and emerging skills are developing fast and children do best in a small environment.  We keep our class under 15 with a terrific ratio to support the toddlers to become confident learners and build social skills with their peers in a safe and fun space with messy play, outdoor time and fun galore!

Nap time is still important for those growing bodies and brains so every child has their own cot.  Our teachers are great at supporting little people with their toilet training whilst at the same time we offer free cloth nappies to support their independent journeys.

Meet the Tuatua Staff

Linda - Qualified Teacher

Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) Hi I'm Linda.  I have 6 children and 14 grandchildren. I am a qualified and registered teacher and have been at Jojo's since August 2020.  My passion is working with children and getting to know them and their whānau.  I believe children learn best through play while having fun.  Building relationships with children is important to me to help them feel safe and secure in their environment.  I look forward to getting to know you and your children.

Natalie - Team Leader

Diploma of Teaching and Bachelor of Health Science Majoring in Midwifery Kia ora, I have worked in early childhood since 2005.  I love working with children and families and both my jobs (I'm also a midwife) allow me to do this. I am passionate about play based and child led learning.  Working with under 3's is definitely where I feel at home and where I have the most to offer, although I have experience with all ages. I have two children of my own who keep me busy and on my toes!  I look forward to getting to know you and your children.
